WHSYM Strings Competition winners

On Monday evening we held the second round in our annual WHS Young Musician of the Year Competition. Those who performed in the Strings Competition were exceptional; performing with poise, musicality and maturity.

Congratulations to the following students:

Winner of the Intermediate Category: Rebecca P. (Year 9) 

Winner of the Senior Category: Phoebe C. (Year 11)

Winner of the Advanced Category: Marina T. (Year 8)

The winners of each of these categories will go through to the final, where they will join the Vocal Competition winners for the WHS Final on 10th March. Do keep an eye out for details of the upcoming Wind and Brass Competition on 23rd November, and the Piano and Percussion round in January.
